It provides stability, security and strength for all that utilize it through durable craftsmanship.  A leather wrist strap provides the ability to maintain a secure grip, along with a rubber tip for traction. A Walking Stick vs. a Cane

A walking stick does not put pressure on the shoulder, but rather enables the biceps muscle to hold the body up. People using a cane bend forward and take very short steps. The walking stick encourages people to stand straighter, have better posture, and walk with a more natural stride.
